San Diego Padres donate aid to Venezuela quake victims

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego Padres have donated to the American Red Cross after two devastating earthquakes in Venezuela last week.

Two earthquakes struck on Wednesday, just seconds and 5 kilometers apart, shortly after 6 p.m. local time in northern Venezuela. The 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude quakes are the strongest to hit the country in years and have wreaked devastating havoc.
