Columbus Siblings Shine at National Archery Championships

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Columbus siblings Arianna and Grayson Tindell represented Wisconsin on the national stage, competing against the country’s top young archers at the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) National and 3D Championships June 18-20 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Arianna Tindell Posts Top National Finish

Arianna turned in an outstanding performance in the NASP National Championships, shooting a 287 to finish:

  • 28th of 474 in High School Girls
  • 6th of 112 among 10th Grade Girls
  • 43rd of 1,288 overall in the Girls Division

In the NASP 3D Championships, Arianna scored 275, placing:

  • 87th of 392 in High School Girls
  • 24th of 95 among 10th Grade Girls
  • 136th of 1,014 overall

Arianna also earned a third-place finish at the Wisconsin State Bullseye Championship earlier this year.

Grayson Tindell Competes Among Nation’s Best

Grayson also qualified for the national championships and competed in both events.

National Championships (Score: 236)

  • 192nd of 393 in Elementary Boys
  • 138th of 243 among 5th Grade Boys
  • 986th of 1,139 overall in the Boys Division

3D Championships (Score: 228)

  • 123rd of 247 in Elementary Boys
  • 88th of 157 among 5th Grade Boys
  • 796th of 1,054 overall in the Boys Division

The NASP National Championships feature the nation’s top youth archers from schools across the United States, making qualification for the event a significant achievement.
