Nine-time felon accused in Gentilly Ridge gunfight held on $220K bond

Bond was set at $220,000 for a nine-time felon accused of shooting his stepdaughter’s boyfriend and the boyfriend’s mother during a gunfight in Gentilly Ridge last Thursday.

Ralph C. Doughty, 50, was booked into the Orleans Justice Center that night on two counts each of aggravated assault with a firearm and aggravated second-degree battery, along with one count each of possession of a firearm by a felon, illegal use of weapons and aggravated criminal damage to property.
