Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office announces passing of retired K-9, Enzo

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of a retired K-9, Enzo. He was 14 years old and had been retired for three years.

“During his nearly decade of rockstar service to the people of #MilwaukeeCounty, with his partner and handler, Sgt. R. Hernandez, Enzo was legendary for his detection and tracking abilities,” said a post online from the Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, June 30.

During Enzo’s career, he had quite the performance. The post said he sniffed out 21 pounds of marijuana, tracked a driver who wounded and left a woman unconscious, and tracked a robbery suspect by first locating the money, then the suspect himself…
