NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham has signed an emergency order to allocate state resources to assist with the response to wildfires across New Mexico, including the McCauley Springs Fire in Sandoval County.

Executive Order 2026-047 directs the New Mexico Department of Finance Administration to allocate $500,000 to the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management for emergency response efforts.
“More than 16 large wildfires are burning across our state and conditions for more are expected to increase,” Maj. Gen.
