BEDFORD, Va. (WSET) — A man has been arrested in relation to a May shooting in the Town of Bedford.
According to the Bedford Police Department, 35-year-old Damonyea Quintez Mallory, of Lynchburg, now faces the following charges:
- 18.2-51.2 Aggravated malicious wounding
- 18.2-22 Conspiracy to commit a felony
- 18.2-53.1 Use or display of firearm in committing a felony
- 18.2-279 Discharging firearms or missiles within or at a building or dwelling house
- 18.2-308.2 Possession or transportation of firearms, firearms ammunition, stun weapons, explosives or concealed weapons by a convicted felon
- 18.2-422 Prohibition of wearing of masks in certain places
Police said this investigation is in relation to the May 14th, 2026, shooting on Piedmont Street in the Town of Bedford.
