SAVANNHA, Ga. (WSAV) — A hotter and drier pattern will set up for Wednesday and Thursday as high pressure builds in over the southeastern U.S. A few storms will move back in by Friday for the weekend.
Wednesday morning will begin mainly sunny and very warm with low temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. The sunny sky will help temperatures to quickly climb into the lower and middle 90s.
There will be enough low-level humidity that heat index values will still be able to be as high as 100-105°F at times.
Similar conditions are expected for Thursday. Morning low temperatures will be in the lower to middle 70s. Thursday afternoon high temperatures will warm into the middle to upper 90s…
