QUINCY, Fla. — A scam reported in Gadsden County has prompted the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office to warn residents after a victim said she was approached by strangers offering what appeared to be a pouch of coupons that turned out to contain a large amount of cash.
The victim reported being approached in a Walmart parking lot by unknown individuals who allegedly offered her the pouch. When it was opened, it appeared to contain a large amount of money.
