Reading League founder tackles literacy crisis affecting students (Syracuse Trailblazers)

Dr. Maria Murray founded The Reading League “out of pure frustration” with widespread reading failures in American schools.

The Reading League, headquartered here in Syracuse, works to equip educators with the knowledge needed to effectively teach all students how to read.
