ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The 27 Alaskans sent to represent the Last Frontier at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota more than held their own against top-tier competition.
The Alaska delegation netted a total of 19 medals, including seven golds, ten silvers, and two bronzes, according to the official Special Olympics website’s tally.
