DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Two judges in Montgomery County have been elected to serve as the Presiding Judge and the Administrative Judge, starting this Wednesday.
Both Judge Timothy N. O’Connell and Judge Mary E. Montgomery have been elected by their judicial colleagues to serve.
Judge O’Connell will be the Presiding Judge of Montgomery County Common Pleas Court. He was elected through a majority vote from all sixteen Pleas Court judges. In his new role, O’Connell will be the administrative supervisor of both the court and its judges.
