BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Southwest Idaho residents and business owners who were hit by strong winds, heavy rainfall, and hail on June 26-27 are being asked to report any damage as the state evaluates if any disaster assistance programs could become available.
The Idaho Office of Emergency Management said homeowners, renters and businesses in Ada and Canyon counties should submit damage information at ioem.idaho.gov/report-damages. The reports will be used to give state and local agencies a description of damage incurred and to help determine the extent of damage sustained from the weather event.
State officials said reporting damage does not guarantee assistance and is not a request or application for assistance.
