Drought persists across the Gulf Coast

Our weekly drought update shows no improvement for the Gulf Coast. Communities west of I-75 in Lee and Charlotte counties are facing severe drought.

Keep in mind, our region wasn’t drought-free until August last year. August is typically our wettest month with an average rainfall of over 10 inches!
