MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis-Shelby County Schools joined the Mid-South Food Bank on Wednesday to distribute food to more than 250 families across the area.
Volunteers turned out despite summer heat to staff the giveaway. With school out of session, many children are missing the free meals they rely on during the school year.
