Lincoln Man Charged With Weapon Possession After Barricading Himself in Home for 2.5 Hours

LINCOLN, N.Y. — A man allegedly pointed a handgun at someone during a dispute in the Town of Lincoln, then refused to leave his home for hours before being arrested.

According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a home in the 3700 block of Cottons Road at about 6:33 p.m. on July 1 after a report that Kurt Morris, 48, of Lincoln, had threatened the caller with a handgun.

Deputies said Morris left the area in a pickup truck but was later found at his residence in the 3200 block of Cottons Road…
