As we move into the 4th of July weekend, police agencies are ramping up efforts to make sure drivers and boaters are sober.
“In an effort to prevent alcohol-related injuries and fatalities, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office will be participating in National ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ enforcement campaign,” JPSO Sergeant Brandon Veal warned in a news release.
