Larkin Poe brought the “Summertime Sunset,” some “Bluephoria,” and all the feel-good tunes to the Arcada Theatre for fans old and new.
We’ve said it before, Larkin Poe keep going from strength to strength, and they are still on that upward trajectory. As Ron Onesti took to the stage to introduce the sisters, he said people kept telling him he had to get them on at The Arcada, so he did just that. The audience was a 50/50 split of those who had and those who hadn’t seen Larkin Poe live before, but judging by the comments and reactions from the crowd, it will most certainly not be their last.
The smiles on both Rebecca’s and Megan’s faces throughout the night showed that they were clearly enjoying themselves just as much as the audience was. It was infectious! This was not a band just going through the motions of putting on a show. They put their hearts, their souls, their everything into performing for the St Charles crowd. When you see a band looking so happy to perform, it draws you in that much more…
