On Wednesday, July 1, a 2008 Honda CR-V was damaged in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 44, about four miles east of Sarcoxie in Lawrence County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at approximately 6:16 p.m. when a large piece of vehicle equipment was in the roadway. The driver of the Honda CR-V attempted to avoid the object, but the front of the sport utility vehicle struck it. After the impact, the Honda CR-V traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment.
