SARATOGA COUNTY, NY (WRGB) — Three inmates at Saratoga County Jail face charges following an assault reported last month.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office investigated an assault involving three inmates that reportedly occurred on June 16, 2026, at the Saratoga County Jail. Investigation into the incident led to the arrests Wednesday of Neil L. Richardson Jr., 41, of Albany, Justen S. Roberts, 29, of Schenectady and Joseph E. Hess IV, 33, of Frankfort for assault in the 2nd degree (class D felonies).
Richardson, Roberts and Hess are accused of intentionally causing physical injury to another person while confined in a correctional facility. All three suffered bruising and swelling to their facial areas from a fight among them and were treated by jail staff…
