CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Update: The Clarksville Police Department reports that missing 87-year-old Alice “Jo” Procopio has been found dead on Thursday.
“Ms. Procopio was found a short distance from her residence in a wooded area,” CPD said.
“At this time, there are no indications of foul play. However, detectives with the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Homicide Unit responded to the scene. As is standard procedure, all unattended deaths are thoroughly investigated to determine the circumstances surrounding the death and to ensure no foul play was involved. The next of kin has been notified. No other information is available for release at this time.”
