SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a tractor trailer Thursday morning, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Officials said a motorcyclist riding a 2026 Yamaha sport bike was driving south on Phillips Drive approaching Battleground Road. A 2024 Kenworth tractor trailer was also traveling west on Battleground Road at the time. The motorcyclist reportedly sped through a stop sign, then struck the tractor trailer.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released at this time…
