Second Suspect Surrenders After Killing Penn State Student In Philadelphia

The second suspect wanted for the deadly shooting of a Penn State student in South Philadelphia surrendered to police Thursday, per CBS News.

Teenager Kaiseem Smith, surrendered just one day after U.S. Marshals arrested Azzubair Outen-Fleming in Colorado. The two suspects, both 16 years old, are charged with a plethora of counts including murder, criminal conspiracy, illegal possession of a firearm, and robbery.

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner announced the stepfather of Outen-Fleming was also charged in the shooting. He was charged with hindering apprehension, tampering with evidence, and obstruction of justice. He allegedly helped Outen-Fleming flee the area.

U.S. Marshals said Outen-Fleming fled Pennsylvania on June 11 en route to Colorado, where he has family. He was taken into custody in Colorado Springs on Wednesday evening…
