Wolfside Urban Market Plans Downtown Raleigh Debut This Fall

A new grocery concept is preparing to open at 149 E. Davie Street in downtown Raleigh later this year. Wolfside Urban Market is targeting a fall debut at the corner of Davie and South Blount streets, taking over the former DGX convenience store space, according to a recent post from Raleigh Downtown.

The location has been vacant since DGX closed in December 2024. Once open, the market will expand grocery options for residents, workers, and visitors in the city’s downtown core.

According to Raleigh Downtown’s Instagram, Wolfside Urban Market will stock a mix of grocery essentials alongside locally made gifts, beer, wine, and gourmet food items. The store also plans to feature a deli serving made-to-order sandwiches, as well as a selection of grab-and-go meals designed for customers looking for quick dining options…
