San Rafael teen arrested after shooting leaves man hospitalized

(KRON) — An 18-year-old San Rafael man accused of shooting a man in the torso during an argument last week was taken into custody Thursday, police said.

Diego Alejandro Diaz Flores was booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of attempted homicide following his arrest at a home in downtown San Rafael.

The shooting occurred June 26 at 1:26 p.m. in the area of 40 Louise Street. Medics found the victim, a 28-year-old man, suffering gunshot wounds to his torso and rushed him to an area hospital.
