BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Some downtown Baton Rouge streets will be closed Saturday during Fourth of July festivities.
Officials announced the following streets will be closed from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday:
- River Road between Florida Street and South Boulevard.
- Lafayette Street, south of Florida Street.
- Third Street between Florida Street and North Boulevard.
- St. Louis Street between North Boulevard and Government Street.
People should plan to arrive early for the fireworks show as parking garages and lots are expected to fill up by 5 p.m.
