NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A former New Orleans Police Officer alleges the city and the department violated his constitutional rights in a lawsuit.
Former officer Chad Cockerham filed the suit in March 2026 after NOPD Supt. Anne Kirkpatrick fired him for breaking the department’s rule on Honesty and Truthfulness.
