Broomfield Arista Flats shooting defendant may face trial later this year

Gregory Miles, accused of murdering his girlfriend and endangering officers and civilians in a shooting incident in Broomfield in 2024, has again changed his plea in the case. He now has entered a not-guilty plea and is slated to go to trial later this year.

Miles, now 35, entered his plea at an arraignment Thursday in a Broomfield court. A jury trial has been scheduled, and among the times proposed was November. The trial could last about two weeks.
