CORVALLIS, Ore. (KATU) — A prolific retail theft suspect was arrested in Corvallis last month during a retail theft operation.
Officials said 48-year-old Oscar Porras of Salem was taken into custody after entering a business on NE Four Acre Place.
“Loss prevention staff recognized Porras from previous theft investigations involving more than $1,000 in stolen merchandise,” Corvallis police said. “Officers determined Porras was attempting to steal nearly $600 in additional merchandise and was in possession of a theft device.”…
