ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – An Anchorage jury has awarded damages in a wrongful death lawsuit tied to a 2021 heli-skiing crash near the Knik Glacier that killed Czech billionaire Petr Kellner and four others.
An attorney representing the plaintiffs said Thursday that the jury awarded “just under $7.5 million” in the case, including $1.2 million for pain and suffering and $6.63 million for economic loss. Singer said fault was allocated among the three original defendants: Tordrillo Mountain Lodge, Soloy Helicopters and Third Edge Alaska.
