WAYNESVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — After years of working toward creating a social district, the Town of Waynesville’s town council voted on Tuesday, June 23, to officially establish one.
At a town council meeting, Beth Gilmore, Executive Director of the Downtown Waynesville Commission (DWC), presented a new social district plan to the council, which was passed.
