The Polk County Sheriff’s Office terminated the health care services agreement with the jail provider. YesCare, the medical services provider for the Polk County Jail for 33 years, recently had filed for bankruptcy, representing a breach of the contract with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
PCSO said the executive staff determined that YesCare was no longer in a financial position to provide dependable medical services at Polk County jail facilities.
