HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Weather Authority will be closely monitoring the radar Thursday afternoon as strong to severe storms could develop.
With the environment favorable for strong to severe storms, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued through 8 p.m. The watch includes all of North Alabama and Southern Middle Tennessee.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is issued when conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms to develop.
Showers and storms will continue to develop through the evening hours. These will be isolated and scattered in coverage, so some people will see the rain activity while others remain dry.
