John Wildhack’s last day as Syracuse’s athletics director, after a 10-year run, came earlier this week, on June 30. The next day, on July 1, Bryan Blair officially took over as the Orange’s athletics director.
Wildhack, in a radio interview earlier this week, discussed a variety of topics, including his decision to promote Adrian Autry from associate head coach to the head coach of Syracuse men’s basketball after the legendary Hall of Famer Jim Boeheim retired in March of 2023 after 47 seasons at the helm of the program.
