WESTCHESTER COUNTY – Two men face felony aggravated DWI charges—Leandra’s Law, for allegedly driving while intoxicated with their children in the cars. State Police arrested Artemio Gonzalez, 34, of Yonkers, after his car was reportedly observed weaving in and out of traffic on Route 9 in the Continental Village section of Cortlandt.
When stopped, troopers found a two-year-old child inside the vehicle.
Gonzalez was placed under arrest and transported to the State Police barracks for processing, where he submitted to a chemical breath test that yielded a blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent or nearly twice the legal limit for DWI in New York State.
