MAKAHA, Hawaii (Island News) — Two men were rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard after their fishing boat capsized in the waters off of Makaha on Friday afternoon.
The Coast Guard was alerted at 1:58 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, about a 12-foot fishing vessel that capsized offshore on Oahu’s West Side.
