SAN DIEGO (FOX5/KUSI) — San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria marked Independence Day with a message encouraging Americans to reflect on the nation’s founding while recommitting to civic engagement and community service.
Gloria, who currently serves as president of the United States Conference of Mayors, issued the statement Saturday after joining mayors from across the country in Philadelphia earlier this week to commemorate the 250th anniversary of America’s founding.
