After family lost 4 in Central Texas floods, Dallas restaurant hosts fundraiser on 1-year anniversary

  • Renny’s Bar and Grill in Dallas is hosting a fundraiser until July 12, 2026, where $10 from each $49 meal will benefit the Harber family fund in honor of two children and two grandparents who died in the Texas Hill Country floods.

On the 1-year anniversary of the floods in Central Texas, Dallas restaurant Renny’s is honoring one North Texas family that lost two children and two grandparents in the tragedy.

Blair and Brooke Harber, ages 13 and 11, died after being swept 15 miles from their grandparents’ home in Hunt, Texas, last summer. Their grandparents, Mike and Charlene Harber, were also found dead after the Fourth of July floods.

Moved by the monumental loss, Renny’s Bar & Grill owner Mark Maguire is raising money for the Harber family fund, created to honor their two little girls…
