The incident was listed as a structure fire, with New Berlin units on scene to support Brookfield operations. According to Waukesha County Communications, Division 106 serves as the dispatch hub for these multi-department responses, and the county’s Division 106 box cards spell out which neighboring units, including New Berlin, can be sent on box alarms. The Division 106 box cards detail how those assignments are pre-planned so large responses roll out faster when the tones drop.
