Burton St. on-ramp reopens after jackknifed semi caused delays

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Travelers on southbound US-131 in Grand Rapids experienced delays Sunday after a semi jackknifed blocking the Burton Street entrance ramp.

A caller reported that a semi had lost control and jackknifed near the on-ramp and was blocking all three lanes around 9:17 a.m., Kent County dispatchers told News 8. The incident did not involve any other vehicles, and no injuries have been reported.
