MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Temperatures are mild, but it’s another sticky morning. Along the coast, temperatures are starting in the upper 70s, while the rest of the area is in the low to mid-70s.
We’re looking forward to another mostly sunny afternoon, but we’re also keeping an eye on a few showers and thunderstorms expected to develop later this evening. Unfortunately, coverage will be fairly limited, with only about 20% to 30% of the area expected to see rain.
A Heat Advisory remains in effect for Horry County, where feels-like temperatures will range from 103 to 106 degrees. Robeson County is also under a Heat Advisory. For the rest of us, it will still be very hot, with heat index values generally between 101 and 104 degrees…
