ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Until proven he can be dethroned, David Norris remains the king of mighty Mount Marathon.
It was his seventh entry in the grueling and historic race – and it was the seventh time he was the first runner down the 3,000-foot mountain and across the finish line, clocking in at 43 minutes and 8 seconds.
“Relief,” Norris said of his feelings after claiming victory. “It’s always nice to have the race knocked out so you can just enjoy the rest of the day.”…
