PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) – People casually milled about downtown on Sunday, hours after gunfire claimed the life of a 19-year-old man and injured six others after an Independence Day gathering.
Pensacola residents and visitors, alike, said the mass shooting on Intendencia Street ultimately will stop them from enjoying downtown. But some said it does give them pause and has them paying closer attention to their surroundings.
“It makes you wonder,” said Edward Miller, who is visiting from southern Illinois, about 45 minutes outside of St. Louis. “You got to watch everybody.”…
