CICERO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A house fire in Cicero displaced four people Saturday night, July 4.
According to a statement from the Cicero Fire Department, at around 11:07 p.m., multiple fire departments were called out to tackle a garage fire that extended into a house on 5900 Sneller Road, near Rae’s Institute of Dance.
As crews were still on their way to the scene, several calls reported that a possible occupant was still inside the home.
Several challenges sprang up as crews battled the blaze, including the rapid spreading of the fire, a limited initial water supply due to the home’s rural location, and extremely hot, humid weather.
