A Flood Watch and a Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Arlington and the immediate D.C. area through early Monday.
Forecasters say there are concerns about strong thunderstorms developing later today and producing torrential rainfall, which could lead to flooding. There are already Flash Flood Warnings in areas well south and west of the metro area, with the bulk of the storm activity making its way east.
