(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Saturday, July 4, the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responded to a grass fire near a neighborhood in the area of the intersection of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Old Farm Drive, extinguishing it quickly and keeping it from spreading to a nearby home.
According to CSFD, Engine 10 and Brush 10 arrived quickly and extinguished the fire. The fire extended to a fence, but firefighters were able to keep it from spreading to a home.
