Power has been restored to most of Hilltown Township following the severe thunderstorms that swept through the North Penn region over the weekend, but recovery efforts continue Monday as one major retailer remains closed and more than 100 customers in neighboring Hatfield Township are still without electricity.
Employees at the Hilltown Walmart confirmed Monday that the store remains closed because of the prolonged outage, despite power being restored to much of the surrounding Route 309 corridor. The retailer did not provide a reopening timeline…
