4 people hurt in 3 East LA shootings following World Cup celebrations, deputies say

Four people were shot across three separate crime scenes in East Los Angeles following Sunday night’s World Cup loss by Mexico against England.

The first shooting happened at 9:40 p.m. near Whittier Boulevard and Leonard Avenue. Law enforcement said two people were shot.
