LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Police issued multiple citations tied to arrests along the Bardstown Road corridor over the Fourth of July weekend, including cases ranging from criminal trespassing to public alcohol violations. This after increased patrols due to issues with crowds and violence.
In the early hours of Sunday, June 21, two men were shot in the leg in two separate incidents near Atomic and The Hub. Since then, the city has taken additional steps to prevent crime and street takeovers in the area.
