Major Lazer transforms Stern Grove into a daytime rave

One of the world’s most famous electronic dance music acts transformed San Francisco’s Stern Grove park into a daytime rave, capping the city’s Fourth of July weekend festivities.

Nestled by low-hanging eucalyptus trees, Major Lazer performed an electric set to a packed crowd on Sunday, July 5, as part of Stern Grove Festival’s 89th season. DJs Diplo and Ape Drums performed from behind a DJ deck while DJ Walshy Fire and singer America Foster danced around on a small stage built on top of it.
