A 12-year-old boy was chased by a Petaluma police motorcycle officer using lights and sirens after he was allegedly seen riding a gas-powered minibike on Saturday.
The boy crashed during the pursuit, which occurred on the Fourth of July, according to the Petaluma Police Department. The department said in a statement the boy’s injuries were not serious.
